My hours are Tuesday to Friday from around 11:00 to 5:00. I do not have a walk up shop and I no longer take watches in person; so please be aware that, even if you live in the Portland area, you will need to mail your watch to me. Details for doing so may be found by clicking on the sending your watch link at the top of my website.
If you are in the Portland area and your watch just needs a battery, or band adjustment, I suggest you call Klein Jewelers (downtown on Washington Street, tel: 503 226-6748) or Batteries Plus (NE Broadway, tel: 503 546-4962). If you do not want to mail your watch to me, and are outside the Portland area you should contact AWCI (American Watch/Clockmaker Institute – tel: 866 367-9800) for a referral to another watchmaker.
Many watches are not cost-effective to repair, have worn-out parts, or parts that are not available. So please, before sending any watches, e-mail or call first to discuss the problems you are having with your watch or watches. Please give details as to the make and model and what repairs may be required. I also require that the Sending Watch Form from my website be filled out and enclosed with each watch you send. The link for forms you can fill out is at the top of the page (the Sending Your Watch link).

I work out of my house and do not have a retail shop. That means you will have to mail your watches to me for repair, yes even if you are local. For a form to send with your watches, Please click on 'Sending Your Watch' at the top of the page. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
If your Gucci watch is less than ten years old I can probably acquire almost any genuine part, from crystals to internal parts. Sorry I do not get much of a discount on parts from Gucci, after postage charges I do not make any money, so if you just need links, the large Gucci 'G' case part, or a watch band for your Gucci watch, you should contact Gucci. They will need the numbers from the back of your watch and you will need to describe the band to them, as a lot of Gucci numbers are used for more than one style. You may contact Gucci's parts department at 1-866-692-8244 . If Gucci has told you that your watch band or links are not available, I cannot help you either.
Watch bands for 3300, 1100L 11/12, and 6000M Have been discontinued.
If you have a question about repair of your Gucci watch please do not hesitate to E-mail or call me (Stephen Thomas) with your questions. Also it takes a good deal of time to answer your e-mailed questions, so do us a favor and turn off your spam blocker for firstname.lastname@example.org and please empty your mail box so my reply doesn't get sent back to me. Leave a message on my answering machine indicating what kind of watch you have, what is wrong with your watch, and your telephone number. Stephen Thomas Quality Watch Repair (503) 239-1859..
